JULY
I was working out after work almost every.single.day. I was running outside when the heat index was bearable. Woooo sexy whore tan lines and forehead tan lines!kill me please face. |
Teh MD Adult Roomie's sister came to stay with us for the weekend to help Teh MD Adult Roomie recover after her surgery and she brought her doggy and we love doggies!
I admitted my problem for needing all.the.sleeps when I'm stressed to the point of being unable to do real life things because I just need to sleep away the pain.
I discovered this and Teh MD Teenage Roomie and I cracked ourselves up over it several times:
It's so fat! And it has boobs! And that face! Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. |
I discovered the pre-lunch crowd at the gym and loved the absence of the meatheads.
We attended the River Concert Series to watch fireworks for the 4th.

This couch is made by Duck Dynasty. I wish I was kidding. |
I went to SHUG HQ (Sighthound Underground) for a doggy play date and so Meri could be reunited with her brother before he got adopted. Neither of them were interested in each other but I did get to hang out with Joey, my gateway dog to Meri.

Miley came back to stay with us until she got re-adopted for the 3rd time and Teh MD Adult Roomie and I were in fits over how badly one of us wanted to adopt her, but neither of us could. Being an adult is the worst.
People actually started calling me "Teh" and I still don't know how I feel about that. I guess I should add that to my list of names on my background investigation next time... PS. If you're not aware, my name is really just Megan. Teh is just a typo for "the" but it stuck.
I started applying for "real life" jobs in Charleston. (FML)
I started mentally preparing myself to move to Charleston and went on an online shopping spree where I experienced immediate buyers regret for most of the items I bought and dreading the process of having to separate my stuff from Teh MD Roomies's stuffs. Bleh.
all.the.things. |
Sex .gifs became pretty regular around these parts and they still make me giggle.
The movers came.
Teh MD Roomies officially moved in (their stuffs) and we cleaned.
Some stranger messaged me and instead of ignoring them like a normal person, we practically became friends.
I bought a hydration belt and subsequently ran 11 miles. Ouch.
I got called another new name (Ms. Regan) and I gave up on correcting anyone ever.
We started the process of dealing with the realtor who I quickly wanted to kill. That pain still exists in my life.
I told you about August in my life.
AUGUST
The countdown to the CA to SC vacation adventure was in full swing and I was chomping at the bit because I needed a Pax River break.Brit, Emmy, and I started the Music Monday linkup.
Teh MD Adult Roomie and I made an impromptu DC trip to have dinner with an old friend of hers.
Teh MD Adult Roomie went on a spider slaying spree, but instead ended up with stitches.
My CA to SC vacation started. It was wonderful. I tried to dye my hair blue. Because we were driving to SC from CA, I did a lot of reading. Verizon proved why I've been a customer with them since always. Mr. Mystery got pulled over in TN and the cop was too lazy to give him a ticket. I missed Teh MD Roomies. My household goods arrived a few days before I left SC and I realized I have too much crap.

I wasn't even drunk yet! |
Teh Roomies and I went up to Baltimore to visit the American Visionary Museum where PostSecret had an exhibit at one time. We also hit up the "little Italy" part of town for one the most amazing cannolis I've ever put in my mouth.
